Hyuuga Hinata

Hinata is a freshman in college studying Modern Dance. She's minoring in Massage Therapy.
Personality
Hinata's a shy girl who has a definite problem speaking to people who she doesn't know very well. It is easy for her to blush and stammer if it isn't some thing she's particularly knowledgable about or if that person is Naruto--she's always seemed to have a problem talking to the blond boy.
She's loyal almost to a fault and very intelligent despite her flaws. To her friends, she is generous and giving. To those who don't know her, she might seem aloof--even stuck up. She barely speaks and usually is quite embarrassed to do so. College brings a new start for her, so she will probably mature through each semester.
History
The young Hyuuga has lived in Konoha all of her life. Ever since she can remember, she had been training to become the successor of the Hyuuga legacy. She was raised prim and proper; never raising her voice, never speaking her mind, never saying no. Because of this, she is the quiet and reserved girl she is today. Her esteemed position was given away to her sister, Hanabi, when she was a young child. Her sister showed “more promise” than her—it was apparent that Hinata was raised to be too submissive. Her father had lost all faith in her and began to focus on Hanabi, leaving Hinata to the nanny instead.
Thus, Hinata was pulled from the private schooling that she was receiving and placed in public school with her older cousin Neji. At first (and, for the most part, still to this day), Hinata was a social reject. She was not used to so many students in one class and shied away from interaction, opting to watch the children from a distance instead. This social fear causes her to stutter when spoken to, affirming her lack of self-confidence.
Hinata’s grades are well rounded, mostly A’s and B’s, and for good reason. She really puts her all into studying and reading her schoolwork, hoping to one day attract her father’s attention and approval. She is a quiet, dark, weird girl that just happens to like to dance.
It almost doesn't fit, a girl like Hinata and dance, but she has liked dancing since she was a young girl. Her mother encouraged such things and enrolled her in ballet but, upon her death, her father forbade it. He wanted his daughter to succeed in being the heiress but when he was distracted by Hanabi's obvious talents, she went ahead and started dancing privately again. In high school, she took some of the dance classes that were offered and soon, she was smitten all over again.
Since her father pays her no attention in public (he loves her, he really does. He just wants nothing to do with her otherwise), she picked Modern Dance as her major. She, of course, needs to study all forms of dance to get her degree, but Modern Dance is her true focus. She minors in Massage Therapy, her fall back career. She'd seen the Hyuuga's get massage therapy for years (being inbred for generations means that there are some problems that really need attention) and it interested her greatly.
